Yoga is one of the six branches of classical philosophy in India, and it is mentioned throughout the Vedas, which are ancient Indian scriptures and are among the oldest texts in existence. The Upanishads are post-Vedic philosophical books that deal with the nature of the "soul" and the universe.
Yoga is derived from the Sanskrit word "Yuj," which means to yoke, join, or unite. This involves joining or integrating all aspects of the individual - body and mind, mind and soul - in order to achieve a happy, balanced, and useful life, as well as spiritually uniting the individual with the supreme.
Years of experimentation and research in yoga training have resulted in the Ayur Yoga 200 hour yoga teacher training course (YTTC). It is a four-week (1-month) intensive yoga programme designed to provide you with the best knowledge, yoga skills, and personal confidence to teach Ashtanga, Hatha, Vinyasa and other yoga forms. Your teacher training with us is about developing your own practise and personality as much as it is about learning how to teach others. We firmly believe in the importance of your yoga training as a future yoga teacher, and we try very hard to provide you with the best yoga practises and knowledge.
